There is a good article on space.com that talks about a new company called Apogee Components that is making one of the most detailed scale reproductions of the Saturn V and Saturn 1B rockets – and they really fly!

NVU – Open Source Web Authoring Tool for Linux

There is finally going to be a contender in the web authoring software arena. We all know that Dreamweaver has the market sewen up, and the rest of the people use notepad and FrontPage (smarter use the former, fools the latter). But Lindows is woking on a new software package called Nvu that should do pretty well. You can see how the development is coming on the Nvu Web Site.

The phpGedView project parses GEDCOM 5.5 genealogy files and displays them on the internet in a format similar to PAF. All it requires to run is a php enabled web server and a gedcom file. It is easily customizable for use on many different web sites.

Atari 8-bit Ethernet Cartridge

Chris Martin is working on several Atari 8-bit hardware projects, including an adapter cartridge to connect the Atari to a 10-Base-T LAN. As soon as it is ready, I’m going to buy one.
