Description: In 1984 most hard drives were 10 - 20 MB in size, so haveing a 10 MB removable disk was like having a portable hard drive! The Bernoulli disk operated on the "Bernoulli" principal, which describes airflow and lift. The read head of the Bernoulli drive floated on a cushin of air generated by the spinning disk. It all but eliminated head crashed and could work in hostile air-poluted environments. Donated by John Wayne. |
